Bret Michaels Condition Update After Brain Hemorrhage

Reality TV Star and front man for heavy metal hair band, Poison, Bret Michaels recently suffered a massive brain hemorrhage after being taken to the hospital after complaining of an excruciating headache.

The rocker was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is a bleed at the base of his brain stem. Bret, who is currently in intensive care, was also in the hospital earlier this month for an emergency appendectomy. Micheals was kept a few days extra for supervision. No word on if his latest problems have stemmed from his earlier complications.

“There are several incorrect reports on Bret’s condition. Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days,” said his manager Janna Elias who has apparently kept vigil by his bedside. This message is also posted on his official website.

“After several CAT scans, MRIs, and an angiogram, [doctors] decided to keep Michaels in the ICU and are running several tests to determine the cause. [It] will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation,” a source told People Magazine.

It has apparently expected since the beginning that the first few days may be touch and go, but we should start to see some real news on his condition over the next couple days.
