Jay Leno Books Jerry Seinfeld As First Guest On New Show. Also, Rappers Galore

the-jay-leno-showAccording to Variety, Jay Leno has chosen well known comedian Jerry Seinfeld to be his first guest on “The Jay Leno Show,” premiering September 14.

Not only will Seinfeld be a guest, but he is also supposed to be doing some stand-up comedy. Interestingly enough, alongside Seinfeld for this first show will be Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna. I am not sure why they chose to have a comedian and three rappers for the premiere, but at least they got a few that are pretty talented.

After looking forward, with much enthusiasm, I was extremely disappointed with the selection of K.West (that un-talented group that produced only noise) and the dead-air time of the no-talk guest.
The rest of the new show was great, but that one segment ruined my expectations, including the guests I had over, watching with me. There really is talent out there you could have picked for your opening show, Jay. Maybe the next show. Don’t lose us Jay.

I thought I was watching the Letterman show. I hope this isn’t the trend that he is going to follow. I really wasn’t impressed. I was expecting something different, but got a earlier version of the tonight show.
