New Missile Defense Logo Looks like Obama Campaign Logo

I recently theorized that most people on the far right will criticize current President Barack Obama for just about anything.  He could cure cancer, and these people would say it is part of a liberal agenda to destroy the foundation that this country was based on. So, what is the latest thing that has people up in arms? Well, the new Missile Defense Logo.

So, what has everyone up in arms? Well, people seem to think that this is just another way Obama is trying to silently integrate himself into the government….through a logo. C’mon folks, don’t we have better stuff to be worrying about right now instead of a change in logo design?

Note: I personally thinks the new logo looks a lot more slick, but I’m not sure why a logo for a Missile Defense Agency really needs to be updated.

  • We're concerned because O'bama has an apparent need to redesign far too much into 'his' vision. Considering how destructive he's been to the country so far why is it hard for you to understand Conservatives concern(s)?

What possible need was there to change an already quite attractive and far MORE FUNCTIONAL logo to a logo that indeed does appear to have a 'somewhat' crescent element within it? WHY was it necessary to use the money it undoubtedly took to commission the new logo (no doubt many thousands)?

To those of us who are fed up with the UNIMAGINABLE debt we are in the process of amassing, the unemployment in the nation (my own son-in-law being one of those laid off, my son not getting hardly any hours, both of them raising young families) and the obvious attempt to take over ever aspect of our lives by an administration hell-bent on diminishing our freedom(s) money spent on this unnecessary and FRIVOLOUS redesign is simply MORE insult to injury.

It doesn't take the proverbial 'rocket scientist' to figure that out!

  • Stop spreading lies! President Bush commissioned this new logo. Here is an excerpt from Al Kamen's column confirming the source. Also, you can do the research for yourself! Does your job not require you to establish the truth before spreading lies? shameful!

"Turns out, however, the "new" logo is not so new. "This was a logo that was developed three years ago for our recruiting materials and our public Web site," MDA spokesman Rick Lehner told our colleague Ed O'Keefe. "It did not replace our official MDA logo, and of course it has no ties to any political campaign. It was done one year before the 2008 elections. So the whole thing is pretty ridiculous." Lehner said the insignia was chosen because it was "cheaper, because it's three colors as opposed to the five colors on the official logo."

What a minute. Did he say one year before the election? During the George W. Bush administration?"
