Oscar Best Picture Race to Include Ten Films!

The Envelope over at LA Times has the scoop that the awards race will now be more heated and far bigger.  The jump will hopefully spur higher viewership and interest since the likes of Wall-e and Dark Knight would have been nominted most likely last year and the hope is more people probably would have watched.

So does this mean Up is now our first best picture lock?  And will the added movies be blockbusters or indies?  For sure this will allow for an even larger and more heated debate come awards season, you can count on that.
