18: ‘Carrie’ Starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore

This week on Reel Spoilers Tom remembers what number episode this is for the third week in a row (Hint: We’re recording chronologically), we discuss the unbelievable box office staying power of Gravity and, in honor of the new Arnold Schwarzenegger film, Kevin makes puns.

Oh, and we also talk about a film. Because, ostensibly, that’s what we’re here to do. This week it’s the remake of Carrie starring Chloe Grace Moretz. But since it sucks (I’m sorry, did I just spoil Reel Spoilers? The hunter has become the hunted!) we also dig into the numerous other attempts to reboot Carrie over the years including a sequel, an aborted television series, a Saturday morning cartoon and a (should-have-been-aborted) Broadway musical. (Btw, one of those things it totally made up. But you’ll have to listen to find out… or Google it. But I vote for listen.)

It’s Reel Spoilers #18 – You’ve been warned.

Note: We had some audio technical difficulties, there is nothing wrong with your podcast player. Do not attempt to adjust your set. Things clean up after the 32 minute mark.
