Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special “In 3-D, On Ice!” Hosted by Morgan Spurlock

Tonight on Fox, The Simpsons will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a live-action special. It will take place at 8:30 / 7:30c, after the all-new 450th episode “Once Upon a Time in Springfield.” Hosted by Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me), the hour-long special will explore everything about the show – from the characters and hundreds of guest starts over the years, to the controversies and the biggest fans across the world. It looks like it is going to be a show that no Simpsons fan will want to miss!

“…rarely has their been a show that has become as transcendent and ingrained in our daily lives, as the Simpsons,” says Spurlock in a preview for the episode. “So I’m gonna set off on a globe-trotting, cross country mission to find out exactly how firm a grasp these stubby little yellow fingers have on our collective psyche… I’ll visit the home of the world’s largest Simpsons fan… discover the true birthplace of Groundskeeper Willie… Enjoy an ice cold Duff at an Isotopes game… and conduct some pretty hardcore research.”

As a huge Simpsons fan, I am truly looking forward to watching this tonight. So don’t forget to tune in or set your DVR to FOX tonight, January 10, at 8:30 / 7:30c. And don’t miss the 450th episode beforehand! For more information, visit thesimpsons.com
