The Missouri Tigers basketball team defeated the number one-seeded Kansas Jayhawks 76-67 on Sunday afternoon in Columbia.
Tamar Bates led all scorers with 29 points and five steals.
Mizzou improved to 8-1 on the season, while Kansas falls to 7-2, having lost back-to-back games to unranked teams in Creighton and now the Tigers.
