Ever since the iPhone came on the market companies have been searching for the “iPhone Killer”. First it was the PalmPre, a nice phone, but didn’t have a chance at slowing the roll of
Features of the EVO 4G:
This phone combined with their new $69,99/month Any Mobile, Anytime w/ Everything Data Plan make me think I’ll be switching to Sprint pretty soon once my contract with Verizon is over. This looks pretty similar in specs to the Nexus One, with a few improvements. Biggest improvement of them all is adding the WiMAX support which means it has 4G support. Too bad where I live it probably won’t be rolled out for some time.

i don't know if its the iphone killer that everyone thinks but. its gonna be the first phone to really compete with the iphone...i put mine on pre order like three weeks ago and i for one can't wait.
heya! thats excellent! - just one question, do you know if it is possible to use iphone 3g apps on the new iphone?
Nice! this htc phone looks hellz nice!!! i'm really thinking to purchase this tool, i think the android OS is by far more good than the iOS IMO so i guess thats the phone for moi :)
I am one of these individuals that puts their entire life on their phone so I got a Centro way back when and loved it- so customizable (color coding things such as calendar appointments is a MUST for me) and effortless to use. The Pre came out and I was loving it... but... well... it simply lacked some 'me' things. So, any time I saw all that Android could do.... well I was quite thrilled. I was blessed to have found 1 phone left in stock at a Radio Shack 40 miles away last weekend and I've been enjoying and customizing ever since.
got mine, lovin' it, battery life takes a bit of configuring to get some juice but i'm livin' the dreammmmmmmm!
Yes I need the weather on the home srceen with information updates, sure I need contacts visable at any given time, I want a train app, a flight app, a highway congestion standing app and yes I need a telephone in order to reply to my each and every command and not dangle/freeze or shutdown like my provide Nokia E72 or my previous Blackberry Bold.
At the same time as I really like a physical keyboard, after coping with the Samsung Captivate for approximately quarter-hour, it's arduous to head back. Presently I am debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, go to Dash for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate...decisions, decisions.
Just got my New EVO 4G and a rebate. Its a American Express debit Card though. Sprint stopped sending checks. :-(
