“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” was written and directed by Joss Whedon. He created the three part series during the writer’s strike in 2008. Whedon’s describes it as “…the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.” The series stars Neil Patrick Harris, as “Dr. Horrible.” Nathan Fillion plays “Captain Hammer,” and Felicia Day plays the role of “Penny.”
