Love moving stories and this one sounds like one. Love country music, which of course is full of love, heartache and life lessons!!

Simply said, Ryan Bingham is one of the most talented singers out there today, I’ve been a fan for a couple years. I saw him on Letterman tonight, and figured any movie that combines his music and The Dude has to be worth seeing.

  • Jim Bertel , January 12, 2010

Is this The Wrestler meets country music? Maybe I need to research this more. In any case it looks like it will make me blubber like a baby. I’m down.

Jeff Bridges is going to get his 5th Oscar nomation and hopefully his 1st win. Just stay out of George Clooney’s bed after the Globe Globes. Sure to improve your odds of winning. Kudos to a great career and a wonderful American actor. Sorry Beau. There’s always the lifetime Channel for you.

It looks good. Love Jeff and Maggie!!

  • Karen , January 13, 2010

Looking forward to seeing Jeff Bridges in a movie again. Maggie Gyllenhaal has never disappointed me in any movie in which I’ve seen her. Jeff & Maggie – what a great combination.

  • Judy , January 13, 2010

I’m not normally attracted to hirsute men, but I will make an exception for Jeff Bridges. And his character has had many marriages, so evidently I’m not alone in my sudden liking of hairiness. Add to that, that it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him in anything. Can’t wait to see it.

  • tara , January 13, 2010

    save the downfalled. Good theme

  • nelli , January 14, 2010

  • Denice Hoffmann , January 15, 2010

Jeff Bridges is very sexy and I try and see all of his movies.

  • Jennifer Hansen , January 15, 2010

I grew up in Jefferson County. I’m pretty sure I went to high school with Bad Blake.

  • Janet Baldwin , January 16, 2010

Crazy Heart, oh my, what can you be?
Just a movie that I wish to see?

Or are you mine own that I feel near?
Is that “hope” with each beat that I hear?

Or are you an old crush that itches
To see the screen full of Jeff Bridges?

    😉

  • Barney , January 16, 2010

    this years Frozen River!!!!!!

  • heather kong , January 17, 2010

I’ve heard that Jeff Bridges was unbelievable in this film. I’ve been a fan of his ever since Starman. He deserves all the good press and I can’t wait to see this.

  • Simmy , January 17, 2010

I am intrigued by the potential of Jeff Bridge’s protrayal of a gritty, tragic character. He has been fearless in tackling odd and yet identifiable characters in his more recent films. Maggie Gyllenhaal has always been a breath of fresh air delivering innovative, strong female characters who show empathy and humanity.

  • Michelle , January 17, 2010

I want to see this because of the music. The cast is a bonus.

  • Ginny Ribaudo , January 17, 2010

    1) I’m a real life Jean, with a real life Bad Blake. God help me.
    2) The music will be incredible. T-Bone Burnett’s stuff especially.
    3) I’ve loved Jeff Bridges since Starman. He’s so real and underrated.

  • pat oshea , January 17, 2010

It looks likes a great movie about love, redemption, and country music, with great acting.

  • Rex , January 19, 2010

I’d love to see the movie but Plaza Frickinhat is a lame place to see anything. Except rich people choking on un-popped corn kernels.

  • Joey_Vee , January 19, 2010

I just lost my car, my woman, and my dog so I was hoping this movie would cheer me up.

  • Jan , January 19, 2010

After seeing Jeff win the Golden Globe, I WANT to see this movie!
